WHAT IS PLAY?

Patrons Launching Arts in Yorkville is a not-for-profit organization founded for the sole purpose of endeavoring to bring a wide array of art projects and education to our community. As part of its mission PLAY has partnered with the United City of Yorkville in an effort to erect an outdoor performing arts stage right along the Fox River in our historic downtown area. The unique aspect of our organization’s goal is to utilize only private donations and the collective spirit of the community to build the stage without the use of any taxpayer dollars. This project can serve as a template for how government and its citizenry should work together to improve quality of life in a day and age of obtrusive and inefficient large scale governments.
